The story begins with the three kids losing their pargonnts in an unknown ca workd fire. After the incident, a banker named Mr. Poe takes charge of the children and leaves them with their closet relative, calculate Olaf. Olaf is the antagonist in the story. The kids, however, atomic number 18 unconvinced that Olaf is actually a relative. Olaf and his crew become the villains of the book. During their cling with Count Olaf, the children are drive to perform absurd and abomination tasks. Eventually, the children are able to knead away, and even though the children are no longer down the stairs Olafs care, he still indirect requests to materialize them, and steal their money. The children are granted a different shielder, which causes more than problems for them. In their attempts to settle make into a home, the orphans find that the problems they take all seem to be pointing to the same mysterious agency, the V.F.D. They foregather many members of this secret geological formation that train them in different areas. Violet is a spacious inventor. Klaus is considerably at research.

And, Sunny, though is just a baby, and well-grounded at acerb things, and eventually becomes a wonderful cook. The conundrum of the V.F.D. compounds as the serial goes on, making it often dubious as to whether the agency is good or bad.
